I am looking into investing in commercial real estate (apartment buildings specifically). If I do my homework on a particular investment (say $1 million) and I estimate a fair sized profit once I sell it, would I have much trouble getting a loan, even if I have no real estate investing experience? I realize how vague my question is, but I would like as much info as you can spare. One could argue that $1 million is a high place to start. Is that true? Do I really *need* to start small?

It’s a commercial GC,licensed and all,was hired to remodel a commercial existing building.The job was supposed to be done months ago and still not finished.I paid him more than I owe him within the contract.Just found out that no sub-contractors have been pd.I am paying the sub-contractors from my own money now because the GC says he has no more money left.I have proof that all the money I gave him, he did not use for my project, maybe for his personal bus.Should I keep paying the sub-contractors so I don’t get any liens on my property and after the project is over sue the GC for the extra money that I had to pay plus all the white hairs that have developed with all the stress.I had to apply for many loans in order to get the money to pay everything.My lawyer is getting on my nerves saying that all GCs are the same.All GCs cannot be all thiefs and liers.Thank you for reading and I hope you can help me with insights on what I can legally do here in Florida.

After 8 long years in this relationship it finally ended after so many infidelity problems, unfortunatly the loan still stands. I got it for him to help him with his buisness and to help the family because my credit score was slightly better than his.

I moved a state away and have dealt with the worst custody battle ever the last year and with all the stuff I had to deal with I put this 100K loan on the backburner. Custody has been a priority all year. Now that most things have been resolved I have this loan that I don’t know what to do about. Its a revolving Suntrust equity loan and it was for 10 years and 2 years have passed since I had it done. I really want this taken care of it erks me so bad to see 150K in cars in his driveway and several buisnesses and commercial property and the house itself is in his name and I walked away with nothing but a loan in my name.

It has always been my dream to be a commercial airline pilot. More and more I’m starting to realize what I really want to do. I recently started law school but I’m having doubts about whether I really want to go through with this. I’m sure becoming a commercial airline pilot will be just as tough as becoming a lawyer, if not more. But I know for sure that I’ll enjoy my job, probably more so than being a lawyer.

I already have a BA in Psychology so I figure I’ll just need flight training. Where do I start?

Also, I realize flight instructions will cost a lot of money. What kind of loans are available to cover up the cost? Are there Federal Loans available for these as well?

I own a very profitable company which grosses 1M per year, Bank are always offering this company large loans or equity lines on the business. What if my company borrow me some money, at a fair interest rate of say 5% simple interest and I use it to buy this property ?

What are the advantages and disadvantages? From what I can see. I will have lots of money on the loan (interest) and not have to make a large down-payment and I’ll own the properly free and clear.
